I skate at four other rinks in the area, Skate Palace in Temple Hills, Seabrook in Lanham, Skateland in Towson, and Shake and Bake in Baltimore, MD all four have fairly descent wood floors. I thought the music was great and the crowd was positive. My only complaint was the rink has the worst floor in the area. Thus I haven’t skated there since (well over a year). At the end of the skate session everyone went straight to their cars without much in the way of hanging out. Again this was an adult session and in the middle of the week.
